Description

The Elizabeth Fry Society of Saskatchewan Community Systems Navigator works with clients in custody or who are in community & require court or reintegration support, including supporting clients in finding resources & housing, court appearances, & assisting as they stabilize in community following release from custody

Responsibilities:  
Understands and is responsible for case management (intakes, case notes
Responsible for assisting with program participant intakes and case management.  
Attend scheduled court appearances, meetings with clients and other EFSK Staff
Work with participants to secure stable housing that is suitable to their needs.
Drafts letters of support for program participants
Provide support and coaching to program participants as challenges arise from everyday activities. Conducts this through community and office-based sessions or telephone/messaging contact.
Is knowledgeable about various support services in Regina and throughout the province of SK.
Provides program participant support by assessing their support needs; developing, monitoring, and evaluating plans and progress; facilitating interdisciplinary approaches.
Document interactions with clients as appropriate either by taking statistics or with running notes.
Work collaboratively to maximize ongoing static and dynamic safety needs

Skills and Abilities:
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to deal effectively with the public.
Ability to organize work and carry out the duties of the position with independence.
With at least one year's relevant work experience in social work, front-line work or other similar experience
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively with other team
