The Program and Partnership unit of the Career Services Branch is seeking one (1) permanent Career Service Consultant. This position works within a team that manages agreements and relationships with service providers and also supports the operation of Career Services Centres throughout the province.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a background in agreement management, knowledge of the Agreement Management Lifecycle, career and employment services, and adult training methods.

As a Career Services team member, you will work in partnership with community agencies and businesses to foster economic development and job creation. You will know about current labour market initiatives and information, methods, theories, and approaches relating to client assessment and career counselling. As a Career Service Consultant, you will be familiar with the basic concepts and principles of contract and case management and will develop, negotiate, and manage training and employment contracts. You will have the ability to facilitate in-house workshops and career planning with a diverse range of individuals.

You will have relevant post-secondary training and/or experience in agreement management, partnership development, client assessment, and career counselling to qualify. You will possess knowledge of current trends and issues impacting the labour market.
