Description

Currently, we have an opportunity for a Human Resource Generalist to join our team on-site in Regina, SK!

Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for recruiting, selecting employees, and managing employee programs and policies related to employee engagement, productivity, and retention. The Human Resource Generalist will help build a positive culture in the organization by coaching and mentoring team managers on managing employee conflict, mental health issues, accommodation, performance management, and conducting progressive discipline or termination conversations. They will also answer questions and provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and programs that employees may have.

Job Duties
Coaching and Mentoring

Coach and mentor team managers and Department Managers on managing employee conflict, managing mental health issues and accommodation, performance management, and conducting progressive discipline or termination conversations
Communicate to internal stakeholders Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
Investigate and provide resolutions to employee relation issues (e.g. employee complaints and harassment allegations)


Recruitment

Prepare, update, and maintain recruitment advertising, both internally and externally, according to Meridian Manufacturing Inc. standards.
Identify recruitment sources locally, nationally and internationally.
