REACH (Regina Education and Action on Community Hunger) works to ensure that everyone in Regina has access to safe, nutritious, culturally acceptable, and affordable food. The Summer Lunch Program helps achieve this goal by providing free lunches and snacks to children at many locations in Regina in partnership with several summer recreation programs. We are seeking an assistant to work with other staff and volunteers to deliver the Summer Lunch Program. Duties include:
-Preparing and packaging sandwiches and snacks
-Ensuring delivery drivers have the correct packages for each site
-Cleanup of food preparation space
-Assisting with deliveries if needed
The Summer Lunch Program runs from Monday, July 8 to Friday, August 16. Standard hours will be 37 hours per week, 7:00 am -3:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 7:00 am - 2:30 pm Friday. Some flexibility may be required.
Experience in food handling is an asset. The successful candidate will be required to submit an acceptable criminal record check.
