Description

The Management Systems Coordinator provides certification support to the management team to ensure the successful implementation and continuous improvement of certification systems. Current systems include: the ISO 9001:2015 Quality standard, and the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental standard; the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and the Program for the Endorsement of Certification Schemes (PEFC).

Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal and external audit programs.
Maintain the Quality, Environmental & Management Systems.
Create, review, and edit documents.
Create and circulate reports.
Develop and maintain working relationships with all levels throughout the organization.
Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
A certificate, degree, or designation in business, social sciences, environmental, or forestry, and/or experience.
Audit experience preparing and executing full audit cycle activities (or willingness to train) would be an asset.
Experience with project coordination activities.
Administrative skills, ability to plan and manage activities and tasks, attention to detail, retain records and files, create, review, and edit documents.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and basic computer programs or database system.
Strong communication skills-verbal and written.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, flexible, and able to multi-task.
Critical thinking, self-motivated, able to troubleshoot, and research problems independently.
Ability to work well with others and to lead group processes.
Industrial experience is considered an asset.
Experience working with an ISO certified organization is considered an asset.
