This opportunity beckons a tech-savvy professional eager to drive change, optimize performance, and fortify the security framework of our expansive IT systems.

Your Role
As our VDI VMWare Specialist, you'll play the pivotal role of administering, implementing and escalating support for the firms infrastructure. A multi-discipline IT professional, you have a proven track record in VMWare visualization technologies, O365 administration, and back-up infrastructure.  

Key responsibilities are:
- Managing and maintaining a VMWare virtual environment across multiple sites on hardware utilizing ESXi. This includes, but is not limited to: vSphere; vCenter servers; Unified access gateway; Non-persistent Horizon desktops; and Site recovery.
- Managing and maintaining physical enterprise infrastructure.
- Managing and maintaining patching for Windows Server and Windows Desktop.
- Managing and maintaining back-up infrastructure such as Networker and site recovery replication to ensure data integrity across multiple sites.
- Monitoring systems performance and ensuring availability and reliability.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting issues that arise.
- Escalating issues, when necessary.
- Remaining current with technological advancements and providing recommendations for new technologies.

Who Were Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of VMWare/Virtualization administration experience;
- VMWare certifications considered an asset;
- Comfortable using ticketing systems;
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; and
- Excellent communication skills.

This is an on-site role, with the ability to occasionally work remotely. You will also join the on-call rotation (February  April months only).
