Description

Schluter & Maack is a 205-year-old, family-owned Special Crops processing and trading company with the head office located in Hamburg, Germany.

This position will be based out of our Canadian Office located just off of Highway 46, near Balgonie, Saskatchewan.

We are currently looking for a key individual to assist in the merchandising and coordinating the logistics for special crops purchased from producers and for sales to Western Canada, United States and to numerous international destinations.

Duties Include:
-entering purchase and sales contracts
-assisting in the coordination of both the inbound and outbound logistics
-produce and verify grain settlements, including Elevator Receipt and contract price verification
- communicate with customers on both on the supply side and the sales side.
- develop and maintain inventory and contract reports including Position tracking as it relates to all commodities handled through the facility.
-Following and maintaining all proper documentation relating to our HACCP controlled facility and office.
-Assist in other merchandising and logistics functions

The successful applicant will:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable effective communication with both internal and external customers
- Work independently or as part of a team.    

This position is full-time with full medical and dental benefits available. Previous experience in Ag Business is preferred.
