Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for Civil Engineering Students to join our team in May 2024 based out of Saskatoon. You will have the opportunity to work closely and be mentored by our local team of professionals in the delivery of projects for various public and private-sector clients.

Responsibilities:
-Performing quality assurance and quality control testing including soil, aggregate and asphalt testing in the field or in the Saskatoon laboratory.
-Construction surveying including layout and quality control for heavy civil works, drainage works, culvert installations, and major road construction projects.
-Entering data and participating on various design projects.
-Construction inspection and reporting.

Education & Experience:
-Minimum one year completed of Engineering.
-No prior experience is required, however previous experience within the heavy construction industry would be an asset.

Working/Other Conditions:
-Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License (a company vehicle and travel allowance would be provided).
-Must be able and willing to perform work of a physical nature in all types of field environments and inclement conditions.
-Must be willing to travel for work, perform overtime and be stationed on construction sites located around the province.

Compensation:
-Overtime pay.
-LOA allowance when working away from the office.
-Exposure to varied and extensive project work with high potential for re-hire.
