The La Ronge Child Care Cooperative is seeking individuals to fill the position of casual cook/janitor at both of our daycare facilities in La Ronge.

The casual cook is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children that follow recommendations from The Ministry of Education and Canadas Food Guide. Duties include all aspects of meal planning, grocery purchasing, food preparation, and cleaning of kitchen workspace and tools.

This position also includes light janitorial duties throughout the Centre such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, cleaning furniture and fixtures, and cleaning and supplying restrooms.  

This is a casual position with the hours of 7:30AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday as needed.  Workers will only be called in to cover for the full time cooks when they are away from work.

Qualifications:
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- CPR and Standard First Aid
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
