Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH (MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES)
Job Description: Working out of the Community Services Building in Weyburn the incumbent will be responsible for client service delivery, clinical case management, community education, community development, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.  Other duties will include screening, assessing and triaging referrals to Mental Health and Addiction Services, providing short term crisis intervention, counselling to individuals and families, as required, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and developing positive work relationships with community partners.  These services will be delivered through a combination of direct service, consultation, community resource development and education.  May also be assigned other related duties, as required.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Chemical Dependency studies or another Bachelor Degree acceptable to the employer
Experience
One year post-graduate work experience desired, preferably in a Mental Health and Addiction setting.  Experience with, and understanding of Mental Health and Addiction Programs is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds
Ability to deliver workshops and lecture material to clients and community
Ability to demonstrate knowledge in addictions and their effects on the family unit
Ability to effectively counsel and work with individuals, families, and groups
Ability to screen for addictions and/or addiction related issues and make appropriate referrals
