Facility: FOAM LAKE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CLINIC
Job Description: Under the general direction of the Primary Health Care Manager, and as part of the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) (RN(NP)) is responsible for the provision of primary health care services to individuals, communities, Long Term Care facilities and specific client groups in Foam Lake and Theodore. This is in accordance with evidence based knowledge and advanced nursing practice.  This role includes clinical practice, consultation and collaboration with other health care professionals, education, leadership, research, and development of quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) as an RN (NP)
Valid drivers license or the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially
Experience
Three (3) years fulltime experience as a Registered Nurse.
Two (2) years fulltime experience working in an advanced RN(NP) role including community needs assessment, community development, and health promotion.

Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments.
Ability and initiative in handling difficult situations resulting in productive outcomes.
Ability to identify and work with ethnic and cultural value systems with a non-bias and non-judgmental approach
