Facility: LA RONGE SITE
Job Description: To deliver quality community Mental Health Services to residents of Northeast (La Ronge and area), through initiating and facilitating prevention, intervention and therapeutic mental health programs, i.e. facilitating workshops, seminars and providing crisis intervention, counseling services and follow-up support services to clients and their families.
Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work in partnership within the community and possess a broad knowledge of community resources including treatment programs and support agencies
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Advanced interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and openness to working with diverse populations
Knowledge of factors affecting high-risk populations and their family dynamics, including family violence and the cycle of abuse; addictions and substance abuse; mental health issues; and aboriginal and immigrant cultures
Knowledge of the principles, programs and practices in community mental health nursing and group therapy and the recovery model of care
