Job Description: The social worker is part of a team of social workers who, at the present time, provide counselling services to clients in the home and other community settings throughout the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The social worker is based at West Winds Primary Health Centre.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Experience and/or training in individual, family and group counselling.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Knowledge of the health region and community resources

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
