Facility: MENTAL HEALTH - SHR
Job Description: Reporting to the Clinical Team Manager of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Sunrise Health Region, as well as the clinical lead for adult mental health, the incumbent will participate as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team. The Social Worker BSW within the Mental Health and Addictions Services (MH&AS) team provides assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, youth, families, adults and seniors, with the primary objective to support and strengthen social functioning. This is done through collaboration with the client and/or family, the Mental Health and Addiction Services Interdisciplinary Team and other service providers within Sunrise Health Region and communities.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Mental Experience working with children, youth, families, adults and seniors in a cross cultural mental health and addiction setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to demonstrate professional conduct and judgement and ethical behaviour
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Ability to work in a team setting in a positive manner
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Awareness of current Mental Health and Addictions issues
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical counseling for young children and families using a variety of treatment modalities; including but not limited to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Behaviour Management, Play Therapy etc.
