Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Occupational Therapist Degree Senior is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team of the Saskatchewan Operational Stress Injury Clinic (OSI).  The Occupational Therapist Degree Senior will have specialized education and experience in the assessment and treatment of patients suffering physically and mentally from chronic pain.  Working with these patients on strategies to mitigate their symptoms and build healthy acceptance of chronic pain will encompass the work of this position.  In addition, this position will be responsible for working with appropriate clients with mental health as a primary diagnosis referred through the OSI clinic, focusing on occupational performance and engagement needs, occupational transitions and reintegration, and education for military clientele.  
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
CPR Level C certificate
Graduate Certificate in Chronic Pain Management or equivalent education in chronic pain is an asset.
Registered with or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy and to be licensed with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapy.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in Mental Health Services treating clients considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrates effective communication skills with ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach when necessary.
Knowledge and skills in the use of therapeutic tools and evidence based interventions (eg. Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP), Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM)) to assist with client cent
