REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Parkland Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) is seeking an individual with the skills, experience and passion for regional emergency management. This position will be part time encompassing approximately 14 municipalities.

The Regional Emergency Measures Coordinator is responsible for developing and leading the regions emergency measures program, including planning and providing leadership for local, regional, or inter-municipal emergencies or incidents requiring use of the Regional Emergency Management Plan. This includes coordinating training, updating the emergency plan and supporting documentation and chairing Regional Emergency Planning Committee meetings. During significant planned or unplanned events in the region, this individual will assume the role of Incident Commander.
