We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team in a long-term care environment. This role will primarily focus on providing support in short-call scheduling, data entry, and performing general office duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Overview of Job Duties:
- Coordinate short-call scheduling for healthcare staff including nurses, aides, and support personnel.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
- Input and update patient information, medical records, and other data into electronic health records (EHR) systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with the accounting function File Management, data entry (Receivables, Payables, Personal Contributions)
- Greet visitors, residents, and families with warmth and empathy.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or office support role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic medical terminology is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
