Job Title: Senior Technologist, Compliance & Reporting
Job Competition: SW-10-2024
Location: Moose Jaw or Regina or Saskatoon
Salary:    $30.32 to $37.91 per hour (Pay Grade 7)

Short Description
As the Senior Technologist, Compliance & Reporting, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, validity, and reporting of operational and water quality data for SaskWater. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of the data and validates and integrates it from various sources including field data, SCADA data and third-party lab data into the WAV application. You will establish new data management processes to provide users with efficient and functional tools and data that can provide business insights and optimize data driven decision making.

To qualify, you will have a two-year technical diploma; preference will be given to candidates with a Water Resources Engineering Technology diploma. Certification as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) or Certified Technician (C.Tech.) is required to be obtained. In accordance with the Operator Certification Board requirements, or existing industry reciprocity agreements, certification at the appropriate levels in Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Wastewater Treatment are required to be obtained. A Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the job requires 4 years of progressively more responsible experience.

Special Requirements:  The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Drug and Alcohol test. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required.
