PRESCHOOL AUTISM INTERVENTIONIST
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Regina Child & Youth Services Autism Centre-SHA is currently in the process of recruiting individuals for a role of Preschool Autism Interventionist, on a full-time contract basis.
    Interventionists work 1:1 with autistic children in their home or community.  
    Experience working with autistic children and/or early childhood education certificate is required.  
    Work under the supervision of the Autism Consultants with weekly team meetings.
    Rotation of 8 clients per week. (4 clients per day).
    Training will be provided.
    Support will be based on individual family needs to foster play skills, social opportunities and parent and child resiliency.  
    Interventionists will be expected to provide hands on play opportunities and support everyday routines.  
    Hours of work are 8:30 am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.  
    Rate of pay is $24 per hour as well as a monthly $200 travel allowance.
    Expected to drive between clients homes and community based organizations.
    A valid drivers licence and vehicle will be needed in order to travel to each clients session.
    Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check will need to be submitted by successful applicants.
    Individuals are hired on a contract basis.
