Description

POP is currently looking for a Retail Sales Associate that will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laundromat and store (Bits n Pieces). This includes, but is not limited to, supervising staff, and assisting them with their employment, maintaining cleanliness of workspace and retail floor and serving customers by developing rapport, building customer confidence, providing accurate information, and helping with product selection. This position will demonstrate knowledge of products and inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. Will be able to respond to customer questions or issues regarding products and be able to resolve customer complaints professionally.
Duties and Responsibilities.
Responsible for the day-to-day financial records, including cash out for store and laundromat. Perform all daily transactions efficiently and accurately. Identifies inventory required and works collaboratively to complete purchase orders. Prices, stocks, and display incoming inventory. Maintains a high standard of customer service. Maintains consistent inventory.
Advertising on social media as well as local media of store and products.
Ensure the premises are neat and clean.
Qualifications:
Must be motivated and willing to work as part of a team and independently as required.
Retail experience is an asset.
Willingness to work with people who have intellectual and/or physical challenges.
The ability to follow policies and procedures and instructions.
Able to communicate clearly with others using oral, visual and written formats.
Working knowledge and understanding of word and excel documents.
Ability to use, update and advertise on social media consistently for customer engagement, including but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram.
