Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager and the Psychologist  PhD  Senior, the Social Worker  MSW - Senior, is responsible for psychosocial services for their clients of the program. The incumbent provides leadership to other staff within the department.  The incumbent will also provide clinical services for clients of the rehabilitation program Kinetik Rehabilitation.  This will encompass psychosocial and vocational assessment and treatment services provided within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Social Work
Must have a current practicing registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
- Minimum two years experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment program
- Experience working with clients who have experienced work related injuries is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to function within a computerized environment.
Ability to initiate and support change.
Ability to perform the functions of the position, after orientation.
Ability to provide coverage in clinical areas relevant to the position.
Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations in clinical areas relevant to the position.
Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and medical social work practices (e.g. assessment/charting).
Demonstrated medical social work knowledge.
Demonstrated organizational skills in the workplace and the ability to determine clear priorities.
Knowledge of First Nations and Metis History in Saskatchewan along with an understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to ActionFor more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
