Can Pro Farms Ltd. is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Summer Student to join our team as a Yard Maintenance Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity for students in the Arborfield area to gain hands-on experience in agricultural operations while contributing to the upkeep of our facilities. This position will be up to 5 days a week Monday-Friday and the days will be 8 hours in length. Schedule can be flexible and is dependent on factors such as weather.

Responsibilities:
Operating lawn mowers and weed wackers to trim grass around the yard, building and other obstacles; ensuring a well-maintained appearance
Assisting with the upkeep of lawn equipment and ensuring it is in proper working condition
Assisting with general yard duties and basic landscaping tasks
Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and priorities

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a student (high school or post-secondary).
Ability to perform physical tasks in an outdoor environment, including bending, lifting, and operating equipment.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation to and from work site
Preference will be given to students residing in the Arborfield area
