Description

The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety, Provincial Protective Services branch is committed to the protection of the people, natural resources, and infrastructure within the province of Saskatchewan.

The Provincial Protective Services (PPS) Branch combines a variety of protective and investigative services including conservation officers, highway patrol officers, investigators from the Safer Community and Neighborhoods program, Community Safety Officers responsible for the security of Wascana Centre, Deputy Sheriffs that provide security for courts and conduct prisoner transport plus several other related protection and investigational services.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging and diverse office where you will be supporting the Commissioner of PPS, and you are a highly motivated, efficient multi-tasker with keen organizational skills, we welcome you to apply.

Executive Coordinators consistently demonstrate superior leadership, teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They are professional, tactful and discreet when dealing with all individuals and information. They have extensive experience in developing various correspondence and are well-versed in government structures, protocols, policies and procedures. This position will provide support to all other administrative roles in the office.

Typically, the knowledge and experience would be obtained through a combination of formal education such as an Office Education Certificate, Business Administration, Business Certificate/Diploma or equivalent, supplemented with significant work experience supporting senior executive leaders.
