Description

The Ministry of SaskBuilds & Procurement (SBP) supplies services to the public and other ministries that support efforts to build the economy and make a better life for all Saskatchewan people. Services include central property management: including government buildings, accommodations, transportation and information technology.

The Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) Division of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement delivers critical, cost-effective, and responsive operating services to the government, including accommodation services (building management, operations, access, security, and maintenance) and logistical and commercial services (transportation, disposal, mail, records storage, and telecommunications).

The Operations and Service Delivery Division is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to fill the position of Senior Director, Financial Management and Strategic Development.  

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, the successful candidate will provide policy, strategic, and financial reporting support to a large division that focuses on providing direct client service to successfully enhance the delivery of citizen and stakeholder programs and services.

Typically, the knowledge and competencies for this position would have been acquired through:

- A Masters degree or equivalency in a relevant discipline, combined with several years of progressive responsibility, policy and process development, and facilitating complex discussions with senior leaders; and/or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
