As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will undertake
hydrogeological studies and will provide analysis of
hydrogeological issues into meaningful cause and effect
relationships.
In addition, this employee will provide groundwater
information and specialized professional advice to clients
and the public, will participate in coordinating the day to
day operation of the provincial groundwater monitoring
network and will undertake technical review of
hydrogeological reports. This employee is responsible for
projects or assignments of greater complexity requiring a
broad range of experience and expertise.
You will also assess and interpret groundwater resources
at various scales and complexities; and concludes
meaningful cause and effect relationships to support the
allocation, delineation and protection of groundwater
resources.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will strive
for excellence and act with integrity while representing
WSAs interests. You are committed to operating within
established guidelines and value safe work practices.
You will possess a Graduate Degree in a Geoscience
discipline or related engineering discipline, a license to
practice professional Geoscience from the Association of
Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan
(APEGS). Applicants with the required education will be
assessed to determine level based on relevant experience.
