A Dental Aide is a trained professional who provides assistance to dentists during dental procedures. They prepare patients for treatment, sterilize equipment, and maintain patient records. A dental aide must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist in performing dental procedures and treatments.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Maintain patient records and appointment schedules.
Ensure the treatment area is clean and organized.
Assist with infection control and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
