Work and live this summer in the picturesque Prince Albert National Park!
Two (2) housekeeper positions are required for the Suites of Waskesiu, a thirteen (13) suite resort hotel at Waskesiu Lake.
Positions would start about June 1, 2024 for 3 to 4 months depending on candidate's availability.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning (see detailed list below)
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries; make beds and change sheets
- Wash bedding and towels; ensure linen closet is stocked
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests' requests for information about hotel and supplies
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Report customer suggestions, unresolved customer concerns, and necessary maintenance items to hotel manager
- Other related duties as may be required
Cleaning duties include:
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Vacuum carpet, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Dust furniture
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows and walls (as required)
Hours: 40 hours per week. Work schedule will vary depending on customer arrivals/departures
Experience: will train but experience considered an asset
Education: secondary (high) school graduation and/or equivalent experience.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
