What youll do:
Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
Ensures prompt and efficient, and friendly customer service is provided at all times to maintain high customer service levels and ensure customer satisfaction is met.
Assist the Lumber Manager with the administration and achievement of budgeted department goals and financial targets.
Make sure optimal merchandising, which includes effective visual displays on the floor, efficient stocking of inventory in storage areas.
Assist in ensuring all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to and ensure safety and regulatory requirements and procedures and implemented and maintained.
Assist in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints or computer aided drawings and provide customers with estimates.
Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and:
Experience in the retail, hardware or material industry
Valid Class 5 drivers License
Knowledge of commodity sales, gross margin and inventory management
