Job Description: The Pharmacist is committed to the integration of knowledge and skills in the provision of quality client-focused pharmacy services.  The incumbent is responsible for the medication-related needs of all clients within the Health Region, the provision of drug information to physicians, other health care professionals and the client/patient, and will serve as preceptor to other pharmacists and students.  During the provision of pharmacy services the incumbent is able to perform in a capacity consistent with CSHP (Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists) and SCPP (Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals).  standards.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
Experience
Membership in a National Professional Association is an asset.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
