Facility: LEADER AND DISTRICT INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE FACILITY
Job Description: Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operations and patient/resident flow of the integrated facility. The incumbent will facilitate the encouragement of critical thinking skills of the nursing staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant Acute Care Nursing experience
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Change management skills
Leadership skills

Preference will be given to those applicants with a certificate or diploma in Gerontology.
Comprehensive knowledge/understanding for managing change An equivalent combinaton of education, training and experience may be considered
