Job Description: The Autism Spectrum Disorders Consultant - provides consultant services for children and youth from birth through age 19 with known or suspected autism.

Required Qualifications

Eligible for membership in the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Field Hours
Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

General and ASD specific clinical knowledge, skills, and experience required.  
This is a field hours positon that requires flexibility to work altered days and some evenings and weekends.  
This is a regional position based in Nipawin that requires travel throughout the service area.

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to coordinate, mediate and negotiate effectively on behalf of families and children served by the program.
- Ability to be innovative and creative in service development, delivery, problem solving and motivating others.
