Description

The Branch Librarian is responsible for providing full library service to the community they serve through the direction of the Chinook Regional Library. This branch is open 13 hours a week.
Required:
-    Grade 12 or equivalent
-    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-    Computer and keyboarding skills
-    Outgoing, energetic and service-oriented
-    Demonstrated ability to work independently
-    Ability to reach a range of shelves between 5 cm and 200 cm off the floor
-    Current criminal record check (upon hire)
Preferred:
-    Experience with the circulation module of an integrated library system
-    Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 kg
-    Previous library experience
