Job Description: The EMTP/ACP Coordinator is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies, procedures, and work standards are followed, as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel.  As a member of the front line team, the EMTP/ACP Coordinator is responsible for scene management and support to patients, families and staff.  The EMTP/ACP Coordinator reports to the Manager.   They may also provide occasional support or input on provincial initiatives.  
Required Qualifications

Clean Driver's Abstract
CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP/EMT-P) level
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the ACP/EMT-P level
Valid Class 4 drivers license
Experience
A minimum of two years experience as a practicing Advanced Care Paramedic

Previous experience coordinating, facilitating and with experience in facilitating adult education is an asset

Experience with SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System along with knowledge of legislation, protocols and scope of practice as applicable to EMS in the Province of Saskatchewan
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a team member
Effective oral and written communication skills
Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of work situations
Intermediate computer skills
Interpersonal skills
Physical ability to perform duties of the position.
Proficient in computer software (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Supervisory skills
