Job Description: The incumbent will provide speech and language services to the residents of the Cypress Health Region. The incumbent will work with other Speech Language Pathologists to provide a variety of speech and language services. The work is consultative as well as direct service provision. Service is provided in a clinical setting with minimal travel.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Valid Drivers License
Experience
Extensive knowledge of speech and language development and disorders, diagnostics and remedial procedures and program implementation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrates and implements an appropriate plan for life-long post-graduate continuing education.
Demonstrates effective communication skills with ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach when necessary
Must be able to plan, organize and coordinate efforts with allied health members as well as communicate effectively and adapt to changing conditions
Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment, treatment, teaching and report writing
Requires coping skills to work with residents/patients dealing with stress, role loss and other psychosocial issues
Requires initiative and sound judgement to plan, implement, evaluate and modify the treatment plan to meet the needs of individual clients
