Inclusion Saskatchewan (INSK) is a provincial charity that works to build and inspire an inclusive Saskatchewan by empowering and valuing people with intellectual disabilities. INSK offers a hybrid-work model, allowing staff to work from our main office in Saskatoon, or home, when possible. We are seeking an Inclusion Consultant (IC) to support people with intellectual disabilities to be active, valued members of society. ICs provide both individualized support and systemic advocacy.
The successful candidate will work with people and families across Saskatchewan.

Duties:
- Provides support and/or advocacy including:
   - Self-determination & autonomy;
   - Resource navigation;
   - Human rights violations;
   - Residential & supported living options;
   - Income assistance programs;
   - Education & inclusion within schools;
   - Justice system & legal matters incl. adult guardianship & co-decision making;
   - Healthcare & related services.
- Complies with relevant legislation & regulations, and INSK policies & procedures; consults with the Manager/Director of Inclusion as required.
- Works within the limits of approved program budgets and determines how to best operationalize program objectives.
- Participates in meetings and reviews alongside Community Living Service Delivery.
- Establishes and maintains effective networks of contacts & allies.
- Participates in organizational activities.

Requirements:
- Valid drivers license; willing to travel within Saskatchewan.
- Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check
- Awareness of issues impacting people with intellectual disabilities
- Knowledge of programs, services, and community resources.
- Ability to counsel, assess, & refer people.
- Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of people INSK supports.
