Moosomin First Nation is proud to present employment opportunities at our new Chief Moosomin School. Chief Moosomin School will open for the 2024-2025 school year. We are a Pre-K to grade 12 school located 30 kilometers north of North Battleford Saskatchewan in the heart of Treaty 6 territory. Moosomin First Nation Education Council (MFNEC) is dedicated and culturally rooted to furthering academic, cultural and language pride of all students. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Commercial Cooking 10, 20, 30. This teacher may also be asked to teach Wellness 10, Phys Ed 20, 30 and electives. Differentiate by using different instructional strategies that match the preferences of individuals or groups in their classrooms.
Design lessons based on students learning styles.
Assess students learning using formative and summative assessment.
Manage the classroom to create a safe and supportive environment.
Continually assess and adjust lesson content to meet students needs.
Follow the Saskatchewan High School Science Curriculum. Knowledgeable in outcome based assessments
