West Oak Investments Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced 3rd or 4th year apprentice or journeyman carpenter to become a part of our construction team!

The successful individual will assist our construction team in a variety of projects ranging from industrial to commercial to institutional. They will be willing to work at various locations, have effective interpersonal skills, and be a reliable member of our team.  They will be able to work in varying conditions such as outside, at heights, in dusty spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
Capability to complete physically demanding tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
Familiarity with power tools.
A valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Must be professional, presentable and deal with clients/the public on a continual basis.
Able to come prepared with basic hand tools, steel toed boots, and a hard hat.
Criminal record check is required.
The following credentials would be an asset:
Workplace hazardous materials information system (WHMIS) certificate.
Construction safety training systems (CSTS) certificate.
Fall arrest protection training course.
Aerial lift and aerial work platform course.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) training.
Concrete forming and finishing experience.
Include any other certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc. with resume.
