Job Purpose:
The Camp Director serves as the supervisor and head of the staff at camp.
Primary Responsibilities:

Staff supervision and Coordination
Qualifications:
Be 21 years of age or older
Have First Aid/CPR C
Provide a Criminal record/vulnerable sector check
Some Duties and Responsibilities:
Model good Christian leadership in accordance with the mission of Camp Christopher and adhere to the Camp Christopher Covenant.
Facilitate, initiate, and promote high quality programs and activities.
Be knowledgeable and provide resources for a variety of camp activities (Bible study, games, crafts, activities, etc).
Schedule recreational and developmental activities in consultation with the Waterfront Director, Program Lead (Nature study, crafts, camp skills, games)
Schedule, and supervise all aspects of Christian Education (worship, Bible study, devotions, discussion material) in conjunction with Chaplains.
Be responsible for contacting parents of campers, in consultation with the Administrator as needed.
Oversee, train, encourage and support all on site program staff and cabin leaders.
Accountable for onsite safety, including emergency drills, SCA/UCC standards etc.
