Lanigan and District Ambulance Association is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our health team at the BHP Jansen Potash Project. These positions are part-time, night shifts only.

The LPN will be accountable for executing high-quality assessment, treatment and ongoing care for injured or ill personnel, service workers, and visitors at the BHP Jansen Potash Project.

Applicants will be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team of recognized healthcare professionals, respecting the confidentiality of their patients health information. The LPN will use professional skills, judgement and integrity while providing care to workers and have the ability to assess and triage in health care and field/road settings.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Health Care databases, and familiarity with HIPPA legislation are required.

Duties include, but are not limited, to:
Emergency management
Injury and illness management
Primary care with a limited scope
Drug and Alcohol, Audiometry, Spirometry, Hearing fit and Respiratory fit testing
Communicable disease
Health promotion
Ambulance services

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
Current license to practice and in good standing with SALPN
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License
Demonstrated ability to take direction and work well with others

The BHP Jansen Potash Project is located approximately 140 km east of Saskatoon, SK. Lodging is available.
