The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a treasury board crown responsible for emergency communications including Sask911 and SaskAlert, wildfire management, emergency management and fire safety. This centralized agency ensures a single point of contact for communities, greater co-ordination of provincial resources and contributes to safer communities in our province.
The position is based in the Western Response Area which includes Buffalo Narrows, Ile a la Crosse, Dorintosh and Big River Areas. The position reporting to the Executive Director of Land Operations.
Typically, the skills and knowledge for this position will have been obtained through:
Five (5) years of supervisory experience
Experience managing a budget
Experience attending wildland or structural fire supplemented with and related courses
