Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Assistant Team Leader (WSB, C-Store & Hardware Focus) at our Food Store location in Birch Hills, SK.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
Lead a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency
Assist with effectively managing the development and direction of the reporting team members
Assist in overseeing the sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales for department
Assist with ensuring the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards
Minor repairs to assets as required
Other duties as required

Who you are:

You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; supervisory experience in a retail setting especially in the CRS is an asset.

Youre attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
Must be willing to obtain propane dispenser & WHMIS and Serve It Right certifications
You have strong analytical and problem solving skills, are an effective planner, and have superb time management skills
You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
