Description

The R.M. of Scott No. 98 is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time/seasonal general operator/labourer.  As a seasonal position, it would be from April  November, weather permitting.  Position is available as a Summer Student as well.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operation and maintenance of heavy equipment, Ex. Graders, tractors, mowers, etc.
Sign and post installation and maintenance, Ex. Painting, replacing signs, etc.
Helping with road repairs, culvert installation and any other duties assigned by Council and the Foreman.

Applicants must hold a valid class 5 drivers license.  Applicants who are able to operate heavy equipment such as grader, loader, tractor, etc., and have a Class 1A license is an asset but not a requirement.  Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated and must have a willingness to follow directions, work well with others and work unsupervised.

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
