About Moose Jaw Family Services: Moose Jaw Family Services (MJFS) is dedicated to providing essential counselling and support services to individuals, couples, families, and groups within our community. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing, growth, and resilience.

Position Overview: As the Counselling Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization; overseeing our counseling program, staff/student supervision, program management, and community representation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive counseling experience, and a passion for supporting individuals and families in need.

Responsibilities:
Provide counselling services to individuals, couples, and families (minimum 50% of role).
Supervise counsellors, students/interns, and oversee staff development.
Maintain monthly statistics for the Ministry and liaise with Ministry contacts.
Provide human resources support.
Collaborate with the Executive Director on program budgets and grant management.
Manage various programs such as Parenting, Moms and Dads groups, YPP, LIS, and RIFT.
Represent MJFS in the community and participate in relevant committees.

Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in counselling and supervision/management.
Experience with client-centered approaches, trauma-informed practice, and commitment to ethical standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of HR issues and performance management.
Familiarity with program management and budgeting.
Commitment to self-care and promoting staff well-being.
