Description

The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency supports the development and implementation of strategies and tactics that facilitate the local, national and international recruitment, retention and settlement of physicians and health professionals in Saskatchewan in collaboration with our partners.

We are looking for a Community Settlement consultant to join our team with a focus on coordinating and supporting the settlement of internationally educated health professionals into northern, rural, regional and urban communities in partnership with other organizations in the health system.

The Community Settlement Consultant will:
-    Coordinate and support the settlement of internationally educated health professionals into northern, rural, regional and urban communities in partnership with other organizations in the health system.
-    Contribute to the development of the Agency's short and medium-term direction.
-    Identify, develop, implement, evaluate and manage risks of strategies, practices, and tactics.
-    Establish and maintain effective external relationships (e.g. communities, employers, post-secondary institutions) that support collaboration and advance the annual plan and objectives of the Agency.  
-    Promote and apply recognized best practices in recruitment, settlement and retention.
-    Build trusting relationships with health professionals to support their recruitment, settlement and retention.  
Occasional travel in Saskatchewan and Canada may be required.
Occasional work hours outside of regular office hours, including evenings and weekends may be required.

Skills, qualifications, experience
Typically, the knowledge and competencies for this position would have been acquired through:
-    Bachelor's or Master's degree in human resources, commerce/business administration or related field.
-    Three to five years of experience working with diverse and external clients, ideally in human resource recruitment.
-    Strong computer skill
