The Ministry of Agriculture has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join their regional services team.
We are seeking a term coverage Admin Assistant (up to 12 months). The Administrative Assistant is responsible for covering the absences of the Regional Services Representative (such as scheduled days off, vacation leave, and sick leave) in addition to one regular shift per month. The schedule is adjusted to meet operational needs but equates to roughly 40% time.
Reporting to the Regional Services Representative, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties in the Prince Albert Regional Office. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with general information and pathfinding, both in-person and over the phone. You will type correspondence and other documents as required. In addition to performing general office duties, you will receive, sort and distribute mail; coordinate outgoing mail; and perform other duties as assigned. Your work days and/or hours may vary from week to week in accordance with operational needs.
