We are hiring a full-time administrative assistant/bookkeeper with strong computer skills. Must have experience with QuickBooks Desktop. Some experience with benefits administration would be an asset.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have great communication and organizational skills. We are looking for a person with integrity, who is dependable, detail orientated, and a quick learner.
Responsibilities
-Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
-Payroll
-Invoicing
-Inventory Management
-Bank Reconciliations
-Prepare GST & PST monthly filing
-General administrative duties, as well as other duties as assigned.
Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or a diploma or degree in related field
Must have payroll knowledge and experience.
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team, and independently when needed.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate work activities.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Must have excellent command of the English language.
Specific Skills
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable
- Invoice customers
- Provide quotes via email to customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality and maintain ethics when managing sensitive financial data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and good team player.
Our hours are: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
