Job Description: The Physical Therapist-Degree report directly to the Manager of Outpatient Community Therapy and Physical Therapists Degree Senior in the assigned work area.

The Physical Therapist-Degree is responsible for a clinical caseload and provides direct care to clients.  The Physical Therapist Degree is accountable for assisting the Physical Therapists Degree Senior in planning, organizing, directing and supervising activities of the designated service area within physical therapy section to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of physical therapy.  This will be done in accordance with Saskatchewan Health Authority mission statement and Therapy Department statement of purpose, policies and procedures of the facility and department.

These positions are designated as field hour positions.

The Physical Therapist-Degree when in a designated Community based rotation, also have a reporting relationship to th manager of the facility they are working in.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Demonstrated ability to function as a team member, motivator, and facilitator.
Interpersonal skills
Must be self-motivated and confident in ability to work independently
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.<
