Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join Battlefords Youth Soccer as a Seasonal Part-Time Assistant. This role will initially be seasonal but has the potential to transition into a permanent part-time position based on performance and club needs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for soccer, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization.

Responsibilities:
-Assist with organizing and coordinating soccer practice, events, tournaments, and games.
-Support coaches in delivering training sessions and clinics for players of various age groups.
-Line painting of multiple fields and upkeep of the machine
-Help maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and conducive environment for players and coaches.
-Provide logistical support during games and events,including setup, cleanup, and coordination of volunteers.
-Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Club Director or Board of Directors
-Valid license or reliable transportation

Qualifications:
-Passion for soccer and a desire to work within the sports industry.
-Previous experience playing soccer and/or working with youth players is preferred but not required.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed during peak soccer seasons.
-Ability to lift and carry equipment and perform physical tasks associated with setting up and maintaining soccer fields.

Additional Requirements:
-Criminal Record/Vulnerable section check
-Respect in Sport, Rule of two, Emergency Action Plan modules to be completed prior to start date if selected.
