Description

This position is part time with 24 hours per week, starting at 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. The Maintenance position entails maintaining buildings and grounds including but not limited to plumbing, heating and electrical. Experience with painting and dry walling an asset; Firemans certificate an asset. Must have good oral and written skills, Criminal record check will be required for individual hired to this position.


Specific Maintenance Activities
    Work with minimal supervision
    Work in a team environment with other maintenance staff
    A strong ability to multitask
    Paint, Repair drywall
    Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
    Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on electrical systems
    Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems
    Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems
    Troubleshoot and perform outside duties i.e. cut grass, trim hedges, watering, snow removal, ice removal, etc.
    Report all problems to management
    Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs
    Perform annual and semi annual maintenance jobs
