Responsibilities:
Processing of bi-weekly payroll
Annual T4 processing
Administration of Company Group Benefits and RSP plans
WCB administration
Apprenticeship administration
Maintaining physical and digital employee records
Basic accounting
Address employee's and client's queries (via email, phone, or in-person)
Prepare presentation materials or documents as required by management
Other administrative duties as required
Skills:
Experience as a Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant, or Office Admin Assistant
Knowledge of office management filing systems and procedures
Payroll experience and knowledge of payroll programs
Working knowledge of office equipment
Excellent data processing skills - MS Office (Word, Excel)
Excellent time management & problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Flexible, resourceful with great attention to detail
